on the road again - soon!

It's been quite a long time since my last post, I know! I can get pretty bad at this thing, unfortunately. But there hasn't been a lot of things going on though. Summer in Vancouver hasn't been as nice as usual, and so there has been a lot less activity than usual. Aside from the occasional camping trips, a winery tour of the Okanagan and weekly trips to the farmer's market, it's been pretty quiet. No hiking - it's been too wet and the snow line has stayed way too low.

But, on the upside, there is change ahead - we are heading East for the Labour Day long weekend. A trip worthy of being called a road trip, we will do a loop from Vancouver to Banff, than up to Jasper and back to Vancouver (see highlighted route on map bellow). On the way, we will pass hundreds of impressive white-tipped mountains, dozens of turquoise lakes and rivers, see glaciers, warm up in hot springs and see the tallest peak of the Rockies, which is also the source of the mighty Fraser river. I can't wait!

Now which camera should I bring???
